look at all these parts! Dec. 8th, 2004 @ 10:41 pm
hey - i got a part in the play! the setup is these two families who live next door to each other and hate each other, but really, they're both exactly the same. I play one of the fathers. It's pretty funny, and I'm really excited. Cool beans.

shaking things up Dec. 8th, 2004 @ 10:30 pm
okay, so I want to shake things up a little. this is on the advice of my adult friend Eric:

Winter is going to set in and the short gray days can be a back drop for a grind.
You might want to consider trying something new to keep things fresh.

So, Monday night I auditioned for the One-Act Plays, which are short (10-15 minute) plays that are put on in the spring. I got a callback for tonight (five, actually) and I really liked the plays I auditioned for. The one I am really hoping for is called "Drugs are Bad," which is a comedy. There was a dramatic one, though, that I thought was pretty interesting too. Anyway, it's exciting. I think I am in the right place for it, too, because I'm not like so hoping for it that I'll be really let down. That helped me not to be nervous too much.

Anyway, right now I'm just pretty excited, and I should know by tomorrow afternoon if I got a part and what it is.

So I'll let you know.

I think that, aside from the whole "Jesus being born" thing, Christmas lights are my favorite part of the holiday.

What Season Are You? Take This Quiz :-)

It appears that I am going to be updating mostly by posting quizzes.

I just wanted to say that I am in a very good place at this point in my life. I have come to realize that, no matter how many times I get knocked down, I am going to keep getting back up. I'm not a quitter. There are some things in life that are worth pain and disappointment. It will work out someday, and it will be amazing.

I'm doing good. Yeah, really good.
